Castelo finishes the season strong at Feather Sound - earns first win
Lee Castelo of Orlando, FL (2009) put together his best two FCWT rounds of the season and took home the title of the FCWT Feather Sound Open. On Saturday Castelo fired an opening round of 2 under par, making 4 birdies on his way around the golf course. He began Sunday's final round with a one shot lead over

Stanislav Matus of CZECH REPUBLIC (2008). Matus had a one stroke advantage over Tanapol Vattanapisit of THAILAND (2011), who won last weekend's IMG Championship, and

Yi Ming Zhang of CHINA (2009).
On Sunday, Zhang joined Matus in a tie for 2nd place with a final round of 73, and his best finish of the FCWT season. Fatehbir Dhaliwal of Chandigarh, INDIA (2008) carded a final round of 1 under par to finish tied for 4th with Ross Frankenberg of Barrington, IL (2009).

Ahmed Musharrekh of UAE fired the Low Round of 3 under par 69 to move into a tie for 6th with David Ostrowski of Burlington, NC (2008), Benjamin Murray of Toronto, ON, CANADA (2009), and Tanapol Vattanapisit.
Pablo Serna of COLOMBIA (2009) and Florian Tomko of Lontzen, BELGIUM (2009) finished tied for 10th.

In the Boys 13-15 division, 25 year old Brandon Baerwaldt of Bradenton, FL (2010) carded a one under par 71, despite a 7 on the par 4 7th hole on Saturday, and took the first round lead. Brandon, one of the most consistent players on the FCWT, entered this event with 3 Top Threes and 5 Top Fives this season. On Sunday he added a win to that resume! Brandon carded a final round of 74 (the Low Round in this division) which gave him a 3 stroke win over 15 year old

Prem (Ben) Samritpricha of Bangkok, THAILAND (2012), who joined them in the final pairing on Sunday, finished in 3rd place at 154.

Osama Khan of Barbados (2012) were tied at 78 for the lead. Both carded 3 birdies on Saturday to lead this division.
On Sunday, Fernandes posted the Low Round of 79 and earned his 4th win of the season.

TENTH to the TOP ~ Birmingham fires a 3 under par 69 to win the Nittany Lion Open
Michael Birmingham of Ashburn, VA (2009) began the final round of the Nittany Lion Open in a tie for 10th place with three other players after an opening round of 76. On Saturday,seventeen year old Rob McLay of Burlington, ON, CANADA (2009) took the first round lead with an even par 72. On Sunday, the leaderboard did "the shuffle". Birmingham fired his 3 under par round of 69 that took him all the way to the top of the leaderboard, earning him his first FCWT win. Andrew Lane of Rockport, NY (2010). Morris began the day one stroke back of Birmingham and tied for 17th. Will added 6 birdies to the 4 he accummulated on Saturday while carding a 2 under par on Sunday to lead in birdies for the event with 10. Andrew, one of three players to card an eagle on the 18th hole on Saturday, began the day tied with Birmingham for 10th place. He carded a final round of 1 under par to earn his share of 2nd place.

Bettinardi wins Whistling Straits after finishing T33 last season
What a difference a year makes. Last season Sammy Bettinardi of Lemont, IL (2008) left the Whistling Straits Classic tied for 33rd after rounds of 84-91. Fast forward to this season and Bettinardi opens the Whistling Straits Classic with a round of one over par (73) on the Irish Course to lead all scores in the Boys 16-18 division. Bettinardi, a third year FCWT player, was playing in his only event of the season and was looking to go out with a win! He need look no further.
On Saturday, Sammy led this division in pars with 15 and had a three shot advantage over second year FCWT player

Brett Tomfohrde of Hinsdale, IL (2009) going into Sunday's final round. On Sunday, Bettinardi, who led this division in pars with 22, put an exclamation point on his round by making birdie on # 18 and guaranteeing himself his first FCWT title.

Stephen Powers of Naperville, IL (2010), who led this division in birdies with 8, tied for the Low Round Honors with Shawn Steurer of Batavia, IL (2009) on Sunday (a 76), and finished in 2nd place. Tomfohrde finished just one stroke back of Powers in 3rd place. Alexander Gutesha of Greenwood Village, CO (2009) finished in 4th place at 155 followed by 5th year FCWT player Wilson Bowen of Winnetka, IL (2008). Bowen , who finished 2nd in this event last season. Mills Rendell of Winnetka, IL (2010) finished 6th at 158, just one stroke ahead of Cole Childs of Holliston, MA (2010) sho earned his third Top 10 of the season. Alex Pakzad of Bellvue, WA (2009) finished tied for 8th with David Holtgrewe of Cherry Hills Village, CO (2009) and Dane Worley of Cedar Rapids, IA (2011).

Connolly comes from behind, fires a 1 under par and wins his 2nd event of the season in the Boys 13-15 division
Brendan Connolly of Castle Rock, CO (2011), who led this division in pars with 12 on Saturday, cranked up his golf swing on Sunday and carded 4 birdies on his way to a one under par 71 that earned him his second title of the season.

On Saturday, Ross Bowen of Winnetka, IL (2010) led a trio of players, including Connolly, tied for 2nd by two strokes after opening with a round of 77.

Tee-K Kelly of Wheaton, IL (2012). Danny Jaklin of Deerfield, IL (2011) carded a final round of 75, shaving 9 strokes off his opening round, and finished in 4th place. Kyle Cooper of Grand Blanc, MI (2012) also took 9 shots off his opening round and finished in 5th place.

Knoll earns first win in the Boys 11-12
In the Boys 11-12 division, Raymond Knoll of Naperville, IL (2013) carded two solid rounds of 81-76 and earned his first win of the season to go with his two previous second place finishes. Drew Langan of Winnetka, IL (2013) improved his second round by 8 strokes to finish 2nd and Marc Valentine of Fond du Lac, WI (2014) finished in 3rd place.
