FCWT Junior Golf Tour

Age Divisions & Yardage for our junior golf tournaments

  • FCWT Junior Golf Tour player hits tee shot in round two of tournament action Players are eligible to play an FCWT junior golf tournament, if they have not yet graduated from high school and are 11-19 years of age OR if they have not yet reached their 19th birthday and are not currently enrolled in college.
  • Generally, players on the FCWT Junior Golf Tour play in the division of their current age, so a 14 year old boy, plays in the Boys 13-15 division.
  •  A player moves up to the next division on his/her birthday, unless it is less than 30 days to the Tour Championship, in which case the player has the option to stay in the younger division.
  • Some players whose age will change their division during the season choose to start in the older division at the beginning of the season.  (Example:  a 15 year old boy who will be 16 in December may choose to play all his events in the 16-19 division.
  • Thirteen year old Boys may choose either the 11-13 or the 13-15 division, or may play a combination of both based on availability.  (Example:  some events do not have a boys 11-13 division, in which case a 13 year old may opt to play the 13-15 division.  Then return to the 11-13 division for his next event).
  • Girls, ages 13-14, have the option to play in the Girls 11-14 or the Girls 13-18 division following the same principles listed above for a 13 year old boy.
