Preference Stickers When registering players may place "preference stickers" on their 6 events in order of most preferred (1) to least preferred (6).

For the 2007-2008 season, there are three types of events: Open, Classic, and Invitational.

Tournament Registration closes approximately 5 weeks prior to the event. The Tournament field is posted approximately 4 weeks prior to the event.

An OPEN event is filled based on the availability of space by division. So one division may still be open and another may be wait listed. Please check the Tournament Information Page for up-to-date information. Once an event is wait listed, all decisions regarding acceptance are at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Openings will be filled as soon as vacancies become available.
A CLASSIC event is filled based on strength of resume. The defending champion, Top 10 finishers from the previous season as well as 2006-07 FCWT All-Americans will be given first priority. Other factors that will be considered include FCWT All-Americans from previous seasons, Golfweek/Titleist ranking, field/finish in summer play and field/finish in the current season. Players in the Boys 16-18 division with no national level experience are encouraged to start with an Open event. Local Players without National Experience will be considered as alternates in the event of cancellation. Classic events remain under review until a week after registration closes (or a month prior to the event) at which time the field is posted on our website.
Two SPECIAL events for the 2007-08 season do NOT count towards the 6 event limit:
1. FCWT Holiday at Tiburon (December 20-22, 2007) - this event is OPEN to all Boys in the 13-15 division and in the 16-18 division. It will be filled first come-first serve based on availability, until full.
2. The Leadbetter at IMG Academies (January 26-27, 2008) - this event will be reviewed in a manner similar to a CLASSIC. The field will be filled by one month prior to the event.
An INVITATIONAL event is filled as follows:
1. FCWT Exempt Players - exempt players are those players who were named to an FCWT All-American Team during the previous season and/or earned a top finish at the National Championship. (Top 5 in the Boys 11-12 division, Top 10 in the Girls division and the Boys 13-15 division, and Top 25 in the Boys 16-18 division).
2. Winners of a Golfweek ranked event during summer play.
3. Top 3 finishers at events during the current FCWT season.
4. Special Invitations may be granted to other FCWT members based on strength of resume, which includes but is not limited to Golfweek/Titleist ranking, Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking, field/finish in nationally ranked junior golf events.
5. Interested Players may register online in case of cancellations.
